Normally the system requires a password for communication with the webserver. It is possible to avoid this by authorizing the IP address or a range of addresses on the web server (F453/454). In this way, the device with an IP address in the open range will be able to connect without requiring the password.

Why do I have to do this?

The system password is generated with an algorithm that is not made public and therefore it is not possible to enter it in third-party applications.

It may happen that you receive incorrect readings from the F421 module (it reads a voltage of 8 Volts), this does not depend on the program (it only interprets the frames) but on the module which does not send the correct value.

The problem is already known and has been addressed in two different ways:

1) inserting an isolation transformer in the reading of the F421 module.

2) using an F422virt module to separate the plant bus from reading the module: article on the Bticino's forum

The bus must be put on the input of the F422 module. Then configure the module like this: I3 with 9; I4 with 9; Mod with 1. On the out side, contact on the left (looking at the interface from the front), connect M8 and M10 of the energy management unit; and the right contact, to terminals M7 and M9.

The H4684 touch screen can work as a web server but is not supported by Bticino as such, therefore cannot be configured with an unsecured connection. The applications only work if a connection is established without an open password, therefore they are not able to communicate with this device.
